@justsewit, Burda do a range of patterns for ‘solid’ children. I like Burda, they are not O+S but they are not half bad.

I got my Garden Party PDF glued together, 25 minutes, start to finish.

I absolutely second @justsewit – I would absolutely make both items for me (and my husband) to wear; maybe not together, but I would definitely wear a polo for work (in fact, I do quite often), and my husband does as well – and my husband and I both live in sweats in the house.

@lattemama, that sounds amazing. I did some screen printing at school and loved it. I still have my carved lino prints somewhere…. I was heavily influenced by Margaret Preston.

I took an introductory screen printing class yesterday at a workshop in town. I paid a (very modest) fee for the class and now I have full access to the workshop for a year to make as many screens and print as much as I like. @withloveheidi that is good to know – I also have the press and size 20 snaps. Yours look ok so perhaps I’ll just use what I already have. I am considering getting the size 16 die but I’ve also thought about just ordering the Snap Source snaps and setter here in the O+S store. I have a few months before I need to have those snaps in place…[Read more]
