There was a really interesting series on my local radio station about this recently, they took a t-shirt and traced it as far back as they could, all the way to the cotton production, I think? Let me see if I can dig up a link for you. Very interesting topic!

Totally confused – Attaching the Facing

There was a blog post I recall about the birthday party dress, but I believe it had to do with how you construct the bodice lining (because you fold and crease it, then unfold it to stitch it). I don’t recall there being anything about the hem but let me have a peep and see if I can find it.

Do you guys know if this is Tana (Liberty’s lawn) or the Japanese cotton lawn Spotlight had before? Nicole sent me some of that and I have been hoarding it. Okay, I’ve sewed up the 4th Oliver+S skirt! You can see my blog post here.
