Garibaldi slip skirt pattern

    Hello all

    I’m a bit confused about the garibaldi slip skirt – how does the waist stretch enough to go over the hips when putting it on? There isn’t a pattern adjustment mentioned – or did I miss it?!
    I’m guessing the waist is equal to the hips, and pulled in by the elastic?

    Hello! Are you referring to the bias slip skirt tutorial for the Garibaldi Skirt?

    Because the fabric itself for this tutorial is cut on bias, the skirt will be stretchy. When you combine that with the elastic in the waist, the skirt adjusts to fit over the hips but sits snug to the waist. The instructions (linked above) will guide you through the process. Have fun with it!
