Did you look in the upholstery section (along the back wall) at Joann’s? I saw some small cording (and larger sizes too) there just yesterday. Just ask the sales people where the pleat tape and such is.

I need to get pictures for Flickr but I recently finished another popover tunic, a 2+2 blouse and 2 pairs of Puppet Show shorts.

Next up? I FINALLY get to get started on two Reunion tops! I can’t wait! Then, it’s a music box jumper that I had planned for May but didn’t get around to.

PS – I seem to remember that April had the same issue with her daughter’s clothes for school, needing the logo that is. I think she talked to them and found out where the embroidery was being done and then had it added to the jump rope dresses she made. It’s all a bit fuzzy now but it might be worth an ask at the school.

I just finished up a pair of Sailboat Pants and a Sailboat skirt. Now it’s two 2+2 blouses and then I can start on the Family Reunion Top! I can’t wait!

Pinterest is the BEST…. or is it the worst since I spend so much time with it?! Hmmmm…. 🙂

Hi, our 19mth old is cloth diapered and has had several pairs of these pants. I have generally just sized up and she has been fine. Yes, they’re not as high as I might like in the back but I NEVER put in her in shirts where you would see the “ride up” anyway. Just a thought….

I “went” to the wedding! 🙂

Just finished up a popover tunic the other day. I have another one cut out to sew and I cut out a 2+2 top in green chambray this morning. That will keep me busy for another little bit.

Oh! And I would really like to get a music box pinafore sewn up for a family friend’s graduation next Saturday (5/14)… we shall see.

I had put everything on hold so sew for Easter but now that that’s done, it’s back to it!

I have 2 popover tops to finish up, then it’s on to a 2+2 skirt and a green chambray 2+2 top. After that, I’d like to copy Lotta and do the Reunion top in the Pink Park Ramble.

… then on to the rest of my “master list”. I have to say that I really am LOVING sewing all of her clothes this year!

I just finished up two popover tunic tops for Anna and cut out her Easter dress last night. She’ll have the Bubble Dress in a french blue pique with piping at the neck and arms and a satin ribbon at the empire waist. Her brother is getting Madras Sketchbook Shorts. I was all geared up to make them last week, pulled out the pattern to draft and decided to measure him one more time to make sure he’s still a 4. He’s not.

DOH! So off I went to the trusty Internet to get the bigger pattern and I’ll be sewing his shorts next week. 🙂

I’m bound and determined not to be sprinting to the finish line with these Easter outfits! We’ll see…..
