    Just how wide are these pants?
    And what kind of silk did you use for the deep blue sample? I love the drape.

    Hello! The total width of the legs depends on the size you’re making but the size 6 is apprximately 40″ all the way around. You can also use this tutorial if you want to make them narrower.

    I used silk crepe-back satin for the blue trousers. The drape is indeed really nice. You can also get terrific drape from wool suiting or from rayon if you’re looking for something a little more daytime suitable.

    Thank you! I’m going to the Vienna Opera so thought this might be a classy option.
    Would it work in a 4-ply silk? Looking for dressy but not shiny.

    4 ply silk would be AMAZING! And I’ve worn my Cannes Trousers to the opera several times. Highly recommend! Both comfortable and elegant. Enjoy! I’ve been to the Vienna Opera several times now and it’s a wonderful experience!
