I have just made a first muslin of the Size 4 Rush Hour dress for A/B cup size. It fits fairly well, however I’m trying to achieve a very “uninterrupted by darts” look on center front bodice. Can I remove the bust dart on the center front bodice and accommodate it in the curve of the princess seam on side front pieces? Would it just be a slightly more angled shape near the location of the soon-to-be-former bust dart? Thanks, Cheryl

Hello! The Dior dart on that style is quite short, so it could probably be moved in a variety of ways, but it also depends on how much “take-up” is in the dart (your bust size, the size you’re sewing, etc.). You could potentially ease the dart into the princess seam or move the princess seam slightly forward to absorb it. It may take a little playing to find the best solution. I hope you’ll show us how it turns out!

Thanks so much, Liesl. I will give it a try! Love your patterns!! All best, Cheryl
