Nicole, is it possible to have a set of links in the sidebar of your blog to all of your tutorials? They’re such a useful resource, it would be so nice to have them all collected in one easy-to-browse spot. I basically search your blog first because I know it’ll be like a ‘practice run’ through making the pattern but sometimes I have to dig a…[Read more]

Don’t forget the mail order option. It can take a week but they hunt around and find it all for you!

If I want to add a sheer fabric at the bottom edge of the skirt, which will extend below it, so it looks like a double layer, how best would I do that? I was thinking at first of inserting my sheer fabric between the hem and the hem facing, where the pink…[Read more]

Finally got to cutting a toile and I went with the size 8 with the length of the 12.

I bought the combo Suse(rather hubby bought it for me),big mistake-royal pain in the bum to swap over!
A small tip,my cover stitch doesn’t like fat seams,so when I hem I fold the side seam in opposite directions above and below the seam(twist it),so that I am stitching one seam layer instead of double. It presses up nicely.
