The Drapery in Adelaide has some Australian made merino wool jersey http://www.thedrapery.com.au/category/merino-wool-jersey
Hope this helps.
i had this email pop into my inbox from Creativebug this morning. Since they are offering this month free, it might help with what you are wanting to do. http://www.creativebug.com/classseries/single/sew-a-bow-tie?utm_source=cb+sub.newrelease.060215&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=1300&c_crid=702&c_xid=060215
Hello dubhels2003, the jump rope dress in a paper patterns still seems to exist at this supplier http://www.earthgirlfabrics.com/products/jump-rope-dress They are in Oz so you might need to drop them an email to see if 1, it is still in stock and 2, what their shipping price is. I guess you need to factor in delivery time too. Hope this helps. Cheers D
Most welcome.
Thank you ladies for your help, I’ll have a go at her normal size. I go by the motto ‘sink or swim’ at times, so this might as well be one of those times!
Hi jay_1965vw, thank you for your reply. The fabric is a lovely organic cotton jersey with a little movement, but nothing like a fabric that would elastase in it. I am sure that isn’t much more help in describing the fabric.
Hi Nicole, thought of you and your question regarding Wonder Tape. Cheers D http://www.craftymamasfabrics.com.au/products/dritz-washaway-wonder-tape?variant=671330165
Hello, I use these and have not had a problem with twisting or getting a safety pin stuck through tricky seams at times. http://cloverproducts.com.au/search-results/keyword/bodk/search-in/product/search-other/product,p_cat/
Most welcome. Unfortunately I can’t remember what patterns they had left. I love going there too, too often sometimes! I think I have half their store supply at home. I suppose there are worse vices to spend money on and then being able to spend time doing something I enjoy – sewing more often for my 5 year old precious daughter and on the very rare occasion, me.
Hi Nicole, I have seen them at Mt Barker spotlight on the bookshelves which have sewing books near the paper pattern books. They are also less an extra 10% if you have a spotlight card as they are deemed a paper pattern, so effectively I was paying $13.50 for an O+S pattern!
Cheers
Hello, here is O + S digital pattern policy http://oliverands.com/about/faq/digitalpolicy
Cheers
Alexandra, I hope this is what you are referring to. If you look at this posting a few lines down ‘I need to have an Oliver + S checklist for patterns I have..’ and get to Todd’s reponse on page 3, the link is there to the updated O+S checklist. Hope this helps. Cheers
Hello
Having a quick look again, the seam allowance seems to be indicated in the sewing instructions of the actual project, not on the first page of each project where it give you details of what the reqiurements are. Hope this helps.
It’s not Oliver + S, but these patterns are easy to follow and might be what you are looking for. http://www.makeitperfect.com.au/MIP/Playtime_Skort.html
