digital product policy

We developed our digital product policy to help you understand our commitment to you and your responsibilities when you purchase digital products from Oliver + S.

When you complete your order, we immediately provide you with a unique URL to download your item. You can start the download from the sales receipt page on our website or through the email sent to the Bill To address you provide on your order.

This link will allow four download attempts of your file. After these four attempts, the link will expire. If you contact us for assistance with downloading your product, we will test your link. That test (if successful) will count as one of the four download attempts.

It is your responsibility to promptly download and save the file to your computer. Once you have downloaded and saved your item, the safekeeping of that file is up to you. We provide you with the opportunity to download and save your file up to four times. We cannot provide new download links for lost or accidentally deleted files after your four download attempts have been made.

Be aware: bad things happen to good data. Hard drives crash. Husbands delete files. People forget to transfer files when they purchase new computers. It really stinks when this stuff happens. But as much as we love you and feel your pain, we can't be responsible for providing you with new files weeks, months, or years after your purchase. (OK, that may sound harsh, but think about it this way. If your dog chewed up a paper pattern, you wouldn't expect the manufacturer to provide a replacement, would you?)

Backing up your files is important, and not enough people do it. We use (and strongly recommend) Backblaze. You set it up and forget about it. But if you should lose your data some day, Backblaze has you covered. It has saved our bacon on more than one occasion.
