There is some stretch to the pleather. I tried it, and ended up ripping it off and using regular fabric. It’ll be on the blog Thursday, and I’m so excited to reveal!

I just wanted to let everyone know I was able to use woven fabric for part of the Hopscotch top! This opens up a lot of possible fabric combinations. I thought it might work, and sure enough, I replaced the front with woven fabric and it worked. You can see more information on my blog post here: http://skirtfixation.com/2015/06/birthday-patchwor…[Read more]

Alright! Another Oliver+S skirt sewn! This time it was the Swing Set skirt and tunic. And I used my favorite fabric line ever. Is it wrong for me to want one in my size? Also, I think my drawstring ended up too short…what do you think? Thanks to everyone who is sewing up Oliver+S patterns and linking them up; it’s getting to be quite a…[Read more]

Audrey started the topic Reversible Swing set? in the forum oliver + s: swingset 9 years ago
Has anyone thought about or tried making this pattern reversible? The skirt is fully lined, so it seems like it would be pretty easy. The buttonholes for the drawstring casing would be on both the lining and the skirt so the drawstring could be drawn out either side.
For the top, would you just have to add another ruffle and sandwich them both…[Read more] -
