Hope it was that simple Nicole! My kids were under opthamologist care until last year. The girls at the optometrist I go to are hoping Chloe won’t need a referral too! So far so good but you never know. She would have to have drops when she visits doesn’t she? I had to hold Noah down for them along with two other adults he hated them that…[Read more]

@dubhels2003 I am sorry for her. I can remember Chicken Pox and bathing with a calico sachet of oats in the water.
I am heading to the city so shall have good internet for the day but not for a fun reason. Lidia (11) is having vision problems and I ranG her ophthalmologist and he wanted to see her ASAP.
Fingers crossed it is just a lens adjustment. -

Probably. I know it is huge in some European royal families to have their children wear smocked clothing – Netherlands comes to mind there. I love his little outfit he is wearing in the photo.
It would be fun to see how he is dressed as he grows.

Looks terrifc Nicole and I am so glad she is living in it as that means it was worth the trouble of sewing it for her (not that it would be trouble at all).
I have a parachute polo cut out of city weekend interlock that I want to sew this weekend. I have already made a pair of parachute pants and they are so cute and very worthy of two hours at…[Read more]

@EllenMCM it was a really good sew.
I used the Lisette blog sew-a-long method and bagged the lining. I had started with the paper pattern but got stuck on the zipper insertion. The paper pattern is incorrect.
Once I went to the blog I zoomed along.
It was 6 hours sewing time and I altered the waist for Zara (15). I think it would be good to alter…[Read more] -

Sophie’s got 4 pairs in heavy rotation right now. She’s got a long rise so I added an inch to the back. I did shorten them by 3-4 inches, but went by hip size.
