Sorry to those of you waiting but it probably won’t be until next week. Once we hand things off to the printer we lose a lot of control of the timetable and this round things are taking longer than usual.

@georgeandizzy Everything will come out at the same time.

We’re waiting from confirmation from the printer yet about when everything will be ready, but we’re tentatively planning on the second week in September. We’re at that point in the process where it’s mostly up to how fast the trucks can move back and forth across the country.

Good reminder to everyone who uses digital patterns. Ours are made with Adobe Acrobat and are guaranteed to work when you view and print them with Adobe Reader. If you use a different PDF viewer, the chances are good that the file will not print perfectly.

Thanks to all of you who were interested and offered to help.

I wanted to give an update that we’ve got the samples assigned out now, so we don’t need any more offers of assistance. But it was nice to hear from so many people who were willing to help! We appreciate it.

Even though they print from rolls, many 36″-wide printers are only able to print pieces up to a certain maximum length. I forget the exact length now (I always need to look it up when we have a long pattern), but it’s around 80-90 inches or so. Sorry, that would have been me. I ran some maintenance on the database, and it seems to have kicked out a bunch of notifications. I’m not sure why. Not sure why some can’t be marked read or deleted. Could be a caching issue and they will be taken care of in a little while.
