Would the new Trench Coat made in wool pass for a Pea Coat?
(And thank you Heidi)
12 years ago LINKsosew @sosewA Jon Jon pattern for boys!
12 years ago LINKTamara @justsewitMaybe a casual jacket that zips up the middle, can be made with or without a hood and with or without sleeves and a body warmer type jacket that would be suitable for camping trips, fishing or after sports lessons and in our case on the farm.
12 years ago LINKaegean17 @aegean17I’d love to find a girl’s dress pattern with a fitted bodice and a full, knee-length skirt, with a back zipper or buttons down the front. maybe inspired by the girl’s dress patterns from the 50’s and 60’s??
12 years ago LINKJess M. @mommy2mariaUhm, ok, not pattern related, but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE some adorable O+S Size labels!!
I’ve started putting ribbon into the backs of my clothing to note the backs but I can just imagine the adorable labels you could come up with to not only note the back of a piece, but also tell you what size the piece is. Maybe with a simple “O+S 2t” etc.
You know, just a thought. I’d totally buy these.
12 years ago LINKNicole @motherof5As would I!
12 years ago LINKwith love Heidi @with love HeidiLiesl, I would really love some larger patterns for boys. I am sewing size 12 for a 8 year old boy. I am not sure where I am going to find good patterns to sew for him in the next few years. I really appreciate that these patterns even go up to size 12.
12 years ago LINKtheknittinganxiety @theknittinganxietyLiesl, I would love a shorts pattern, a trousers pattern and a tunic pattern with two views (two patterns in one like you are used to do).
I have a baby girl and I love to dress her with shorts and trousers, much more than skirts (for now at least), because they seem more confortable and because she use a diaper the skirts just seem odd on her.
So I thought you could do an unisex trousers and shorts to please girls and boys.
The tunics I think that are the best thing to sew because they last a long time, they start whearing it as a tunic and stop as a blouse. I made 3 swingset tunics for my daughter this summer and I love them and she can were it with some shorts, some leggings, some trousers and they look great, so I thought of a tunic with a short and a long sleeve views were perfect.
I love very simple lines that feel confortable and I would love patterns for clothes that my baby can play and have fun in it.
Anyway I love everything that you do with your finishing touches that makes a garment seem very special.
12 years ago LINKbrittmark19 @brittmark19I would absolutely love to have another knit top. I love the Hopscotch top, because I can knock them out so fast, and they’re so easy to wear and care for. Another knit top would be fantastic, as well as another pair of simple pants with cute details.

12 years ago LINKmle bb @mle bbOveralls would be cute!
12 years ago LINKndeporto @ndeportoSlim tailored pants no elastic waist. More knit options as it is so comfortable and easy to care for. I loved when your fabric designs were offered in interlock. I’d love your prints in voile or lawn as well!
12 years ago LINKwendy @wendyls‘Yay’ to more knits and to overalls as well! I’d also like to see some pants with a zipper and button closure because I’ve yet to do that and it would be great to learn how with Oliver + S instructions.
12 years ago LINKwendy @wendylsThe overalls would have to be called ‘Frog Catcher Overalls” by the way. 🙂
And mine would be made from russet uncut cord with yellow pin dots, just like these:
There are some really beautiful illustrations of children’s clothing in that book, by the way. It”s a favourite of our.
12 years ago LINKwith love Heidi @with love HeidiLiesl thanks for the Field Trip Cargo’s as these have (for me) filled the void in size 10 and 12 I mentiioned a couple of months ago.
How about a girls and doll matching outfit in one pattern, and more dolls clothes in general (maybe a book with just doll sized oliver and s pattern.)
I was thinking about the pinifore someone wanted, maybe this would be good in LTTS2 (can we have a LTTS2 pleeeease) rather than a whole regular pattern.
12 years ago LINKjuliamom2009 @juliamom2009Here’s a couple of things I’d like:
A hoodie sweatshirt
A blazer – (no idea why I want this, but I just think how cute a toddler would look in a proper blazer)
More accessories – build on LTTS but more wearables than crafts
Thanks Liesl for even asking us!
