Now that’s a brave thing to sew up for yourself! And they really look great.

OK I’m pretty excited πŸ™‚ Not only did I chop into some previously untouchable Belle & Boo fabric, but I finished sewing up my Bubble Dress and I put in my first ever metal snaps on the back! I’ve put in loads of plastic snaps before on my big snap press, but never the metal ones… took me a good hour to work out how to do it! I was so nervous I’d ruin the dress by doing it too!.

woohoo… done and dusted… hopefully i’ll get some pictures tomorrow πŸ™‚

Looks great. I still haven’t worked out what to do with my Children At Play border print, so I feel your nervous excitement.

love the snaps. I’ve only had the plain brass metal ones or coloured plastic. Those look great

I just got up the pictures of my courduroy and lace set consisting of a seashore dress and Sunday brunch jacket! It is so cute! I think this is one of my favourite things I have made. I tried a few new techniques including, lace overlay, machine blind hem on the jacket hems and no top stitching! πŸ™‚

I just made my first Nature Walk Pullover, with a zip! I’ve been wanting to make one of these with a zip to close up the front opening ever since I saw the pattern and I finally did it. It was very easy, and I love the end result!

My first Birthday Party. As with all O + S patterns it is to die for. But I think this fabric and this pattern have zing. They just compliment each other beautifully. I am really proud of this one.
