I decided to try to finish the outer edge of the pocket bag (Seashore Sundress) with French seams, and it worked! Yea!!!

Dubhels2003- I have a long standing love of vintage patterns. I’ve had these patterns in my stash for awhile, & wanted to sew them, but just hadn’t sewn them for whatever reason. So glad I did!

This coming from a kid who complains to me about defects in her store-bought clothing. I’m so proud my work went over well with this tough customer!

I just finished my first Hide and Seek dress. This has definatly been a slow to warm up pattern for me. But it jumped out when I was trying to work out what to make from some leopar print pinwale courduroy. With the addition of some black velvet, a hood, ears and a zip, I present the Hooded Leopard Hide and Seek dress!
