How about a thread to post links to something we are particularly proud of?
I love links as I find the new Flickr quite hard to load with my country internet.
I am happy to go first.
I made a Secret Agent trench coat from a fabric that was far out of my usual choice and I love the results.

Who is next?
~Nicole~
That’s pretty awesome, Nicole! I love the whole get up, it’s really cool.
I haven’t gotten all that much sewing done this summer, but I am really chuffed with Isa’s wish dress: http://queenoftheflies.blogspot.com/2013/07/i-wish-i-may.html
Melanie
Those are both gorgeous, ladies! Your sewing is dreamy!
You ladies are awesome! Thanks for the inspiration, now time to get off my duff and reclaim my sewing room from the 2 litters of kittens in there. Kittens, anyone? How about you Liesl? My son lives in Astoria, I will gladly deliver one or all! (and then dash over to Mood for a bit) Kittens are from sweet rescued moms, dad is an irresponsible but charming fellow)…off topic, sorry 🙂
I adore that dress Melanie, I dream of sewing as well as you!
Thank you Sarvi and Brenda. Super kind of you.
Come on ladies, share and share alike. I am missing so many cute things in the Flickr pool. Jane’s divine IceCream dress slipped past me.
Bad Panda indeed!
Both lovely dresses. Melanie, I have that fabric in that colorway … and the music box pattern … you may see a copycat next year! Nicole, the coat is fantastic paired with the black leggings and boots. She looks like a little runway model.
So you want us to brag, do you, Nicole? 😉 OK, I’ll play. I’m really super-duper pleased with my modified Family Reunion dress. It turned out just how I pictured it in my head, and I can’t wait until it’s a little cooler so my girl can wear it with tights and her hot pink Asters, and a little cardigan with the collar peeking out. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23557464@N03/9575444430/
That is such a pretty pretty dress. I will be ‘complimenting’ it directly. I am just waiting for your blog post.
PS I lurve Aster shoes.
Great, a sanctioned place to boast, skite, blow your own horn, puff up your chest, and generally celebrate sewing hurdles hurdled! Thank you Nicole for great idea.
I am particularly proud of this roller skate.
First time applique. Also the lining is a vertical stripe. I used it as an opportunity to fussy cut to get experience with stripes without it being seen if I made mistakes. And they actually match and look good. 🙂

Oh Nicole! I dream of getting as accomplished as you! 🙂
Masha, I adore the Peter Pan collar. That has never been my favorite pattern and I havent made it, though i did pick up a copy when I found it on sale at a random smocking shop In Georgia (the state). I really think tht design has been missing this finishing touch all along! I shall now go and find the right fabric for family reunion.
Cybele, the appliqué is charming and the effect lovely.
Keep bragging, ladies! I know you’ve all done lovely work.
Yaaay! Masha you did your tute! I love that little dress – too cute for words.
You ladies are the BEST! Keep it coming. Eventually someone will take the kitties and I’ll be sewing again, with lots of wonderful inspiration.
White self stripe sketchbook with French cuffs, cufflinks and A yellow Art Museum Vest! Seriously handsome. I’ll post photos of the items soon.
The source of pride was in being invited to pattern test! yay!

How very exciting!
