I keep my paper patterns in DVD boxes (pretty ones). I only ever trace my patterns, so they get kept in their original envelopes.

I thought it had to be sweet. I don’t know too many children that would like soda water.

Hugo picked it up an auction for me.
It now holds sheep propaganda. Far less exciting.

I love ziplock bags.

I laminate the front and back of my pattern package (or PDF print off) and then put them in a ziplock bag with all the tracings and instructions sheet in between them.
This is a reasonable sturdy and protective option.

‘Snap’ comes from the card game in our house. Don’t play with the Twins, they play dirty.

‘Nurse’ is another funny one. In AUS it means to hold a baby, not feed it.

….we use ‘jinx’ too – but (in my house anyway), jinx is reserved for saying the same thing at the same time. And like MC, we say ‘no return’ – but the person then can’t speak until someone says their name three times.

Such a great look for twins when you don’t want them too matchy matchy — that shape ties the looks together but each is so distinct.
