I can’t believe Easter is only at the end of March! I have something lacey and heirloomish (is this a word?) planned. But the time has to permit!
@roundtheworldgirl the plans for your son’s outfits for both wedding and Easter sound really gorgeous. I hope they come together easily for you.

@roundtheworldgirl Masha, that is upsetting to hear! It sounds like you did the right thing though. There will always be people out there with less than savoury intentions. Flickr doesn’t seem to be the place to go with photos as much as it used to be. I use Instagram more now and like that I can make it completely private except to those I add. I…[Read more]

Do you have any of the recent Lisette for Butterick patterns @roundtheworldgirl? If so then maybe grey lisette skirt or trousers with a nursing friendly (if needed) top in probably mustard if it suits your skin tone? Sounds exciting.
I have been busy cutting bottoms for the baby and am only now starting to sew them, starting with a pair of…[Read more]

@roundtheworldgirl It is so great that you get to do this so soon. My eldest was not a dolly girl and I am hoping very much that the baby will be. I learned to sew by making clothes for my dolls so I am looking forward to.
I have finished the main sewing of Noah’s shirt. I used the Jalie men’s shirt pattern for this and some cloud 9 fabric that…[Read more]

@justsewit @roundtheworldgirl Thanks ladies for your sweet words 😀 yes the new skirts are stretchy waisted maternity skirts! Not sure if it’s going to be a boy or girl yet (most likely a boy!)… I’m about halfway through the pregnancy… and definitely needing some stretchy waists at this point! Masha, not sure about the nappies… the elastic…[Read more]

@motherof5😀 You are most welcome.
@ock-du-spock does mean we can jump up and down and squeal with excitement and be absolute dags because there is another oliver and s forum little one on the way??
(For overseas readers in the sense “dag” means to act a little bit silly. It is Aussie slang).
So glad to help and that you got it…[Read more]

@roundtheworldgirl and @sarvi… Did you see Todd’s comment on the blog post. The out of stock notification often just means that the stock is allocated to carts but not all of those purchases will be completed. I signed up for the email notification and was able to get the class picnic in the larger size range about half an hour ago.

@sahmcolarado would you like to swap weather? I hear it is very wet over your way and here, when it should be wet (and I should be the one making rain ponchos) it is dry as anything (we have our fingers crossed for a big rain expected Wednesday). The rain poncho pdf sounds painful to put together. But I do hope it works out.
I also have to say…[Read more]

@roundtheworldgirl how did the velvet playdate turn out? Did you make it in the end? I must wanted to find out as I am considering this pattern for some double velvet I purchased recently, but am at a loss as to what to use for the yoke as I don’t have any in white.
