I’ve gotten my book and am looking forward to going through it.

I’m not in the facebook group. While canvassing for co-sewists to go in on the postage to Malaysia with me, I asked an owner of a local shop and she decided to bring in a bunch to stock her shop. I’ve prebooked from her and my book (and 2 of my friends’) arrives next week, which I’m very excited about!

Ouch, the cost of shipping is more than the price of the book to send it to Malaysia. I’ll buy the book regardless..but I’m canvasing around to see if anyone I know locally would like to buy the book too, to share in the shipping cost.

I’d like to sew more for my husband. He doesn’t get as much handmade as the kids do. I’d love a nice shirt and dress shorts, please.

This is one I recently made with the top of the loop folded over and sewn to the top of the waistband.

And pinch them they would! I remember being very intrigued by them as a littlie.

@Nicole- I’d love to still be sewing on the treadle (its motion is so soothing), but sadly I haven’t lived with one for more than 20 years. I’m now on a Bernette.
