Ah I finally found one…Bubba Earth has some in packs of 20. You can choose primary colours, jewel colours, or pastel colours.

Thanks Tamara. Green beans sell the KAM ones. They are plastic and if you don’t have thick enough fabric they won’t snap shut once installed. They work well for toweling and sweater type fabrics etc. This style is very cheap (affordable) to purchase and comes in a heap of different colours.
The SnapSetter ones are metal and they also sit…[Read more]

Thank you for all your tips. We have decided on the Amy Butler pattern and have ordered the fabric. Now the big wait until it all gets here.

For the Australians out there where do you buy SnapSetter snaps? You know the ones like are for sale in the Oliver+S store but not so far away! I have bought them before in Australia several years ago and have the tool but don’t remember where.
I do not want the KAM style ones. Google has offered me many options there!
TIA

Or did you use something else to…[Read more]

Anyone sewn a raincoat? My 19yo daughter put it on her Christmas wish list and I am tempted. I know she would get a lot of use out of it with our summer rain and hiking between classes at uni. So any tips or things I should know?

Thanks for the welcome. Justine I am in nnsw near the Queensland border. Hot and smoky here today but the bush fires are under control, thankfully.
It is weird how some are inundated with scary snow and we are sweltering in the heat at the same time.

Hi,
I found Oliver + S via Nicole’s blog. (I hope they are paying you Nicole!) I was actually looking for reviews of women’s dresses. I was so impressed with the items she made but thought maybe she was a bit over the top on praise for O + S. ;).Needless to say a few months later I decided to checkout those wonderful kids patterns. I just loved…[Read more]
