We’re currently living in Columbus Ohio having moved here earlier in the year from Australia. While it’s really cold outside the house is very warm and my daughter finds flannelette much too warm, she just doesn’t seem to get cold. We’re going to be in NYC for Xmas too and I’m planning to just pack knit pjs.

Great topic Nicole! I think my most worn items would be all the Class Picnic blouses I’ve made. Not only does my little fusspot love the style, they seem to fit for years and then get passed on to my niece who wears them for years. Great for summer but equally good layered for cooler months. My least worn item would have been the Pinwheel dress (https://www.flickr.com/photos/53315669@N07/12125206415/in/set-72157625695020383) due to my girl’s aversion to dresses. Never saw the light of day 🙁

I love the fit of the After School pants. They are a nice slim fit although I do have to lengthen them a bit for my long skinny boys. The Sandbox are also a great fit and I’ve never had to lengthen them.
    Good luck!

Oh that was soooo long ago. I don’t remember anything tricky, just leave off the bottom panel. He still wears them 2 years on.

I haven’t made the sleeveless version but I would fold the binding completely inside unless I was using a contrasting fabric.

Like Nicole I found it really roomy while the Birthday Party more fitted.

Oh I’ve just done this http://www.flickr.com/photos/53315669@N07/7772129654/in/photostream It feels sooooo good to get it done. Now I can buy the new ones without feeling even the tiniest bit of guilt!

My local quilting shop has 2 copies of the smaller size, however they are at Australian prices AUD$25.

I think those uniforms are awesome, and I am in awe of you making 5 at once Nicole! Just saw your Nature Walk, LOVE it!

I’m thinking winter sewing too Justine despite it being a rather hot week here (36 degrees!). I have cut out a Sunday Brunch Jacket and skirt, a couple of Sailboat skirts (love those over leggings), a Hopscotch skirt and a 2+2 blouse. My husband is away this week which means lots and lots of sewing! Despite my self imposed ban on pattern buying, I am expecting the Music Class and Nature Walk patterns this week and lets not talk Lisette. I have been BAD BAD BAD!

I actually had to go upstairs and clean the bathrooms to stop myself from buying all 4. The conversation I had with myself while cleaning the shower went something like…. the patterns are on sale and very cheap (by Australian standards) and really what’s $40 for something that will be used so much….and then…. Now just hold on a bit, they will get here, don’t forget you made yourself a promise not to buy any more patterns before you have made all the ones you have at least once….. blah blah blah, I think I may be certifiable! I’m jealous Nicole. Justine, wonder if we could split the postage????

Nothing here either, I’m getting a bit desperate seeing all the lovely things popping up on Flickr. And now the adult patterns, it’s killing me…..

I just tried to buy them and they wanted as much for shipping as for the patterns. Guess I’ll have to wait until they make it down here…poo.
