Ah yes, that’s right! I feel 11% shorter already …

Have you already made the apple-picking dress? The opening of the button placket is off-center, so the back of the collar would be asymmetrical — just something to bear in mind (I have a very pretty blouse with an asymmetrical collar, it can look very nice). I did put a drawstring in my hood, and am so thankful. I can walk into the wind and rain and that hood doesn’t budge! I can cinch the drawstring in with a toggle and it holds it nice and tight.

I wish I had put an internal pocket in mine as I am always a bit worried about my phone getting wet.

I also have children with apparently big heads. I made the hopscotch top for my daughter (size 4) also in a sweater knit of the recommended stretch and it also would not go over her head.
