Oh my goodness, that post took an hour to load!

I think if I was to sew a coat from fleece I would use a simple pattern with fewer seams.

Can I add my vote for a modern boy’s blazer pattern? The pattern I used for ds’ suit last winter (2013) came out looking kind of stodgy 80’s. He’s making noises about wanting to be like Doctor Who in a tweed suit and I’d trust Leisl to carry me through.

I’ve had a very busy week, we just got home from a 4 day camping trip! hopefully today I’ll get back to the machines and finish the embellishment of my dress and the hems 🙂

I am keen to see the LTTS cape in a quilted fabric.

I am sewing a polo shirt for my husband but after that I have 1/2 dozen nurses capes to make for the school students for ANZAC day. They should be nice and quick, the pattern is based on a boomerang pillow case.
