I’m making a modified RRH cape from LTTS for my nieces 16th birthday! I have the outer navy cut and sewn as well as the vintage lining. Next up is the fleece interlining 🙂

When you’re on a camping trip and at least two (out of 7) the kids at any one time are wearing something you’ve sewn. And none of them are your own kids 🙂

When you’re looking at clothing in a Target catalogue and because the dress is made in a dark background floral you go looking all over the page for the line drawing so you can see the details of the dress!

I have to take my machine in for repairs 🙁 I got thread caught around the balance wheel and can’t get it out.
I’ll be sewing on the overlocker and coverstitch for a few days.

I’ve had a very busy week, we just got home from a 4 day camping trip! hopefully today I’ll get back to the machines and finish the embellishment of my dress and the hems 🙂

I have made it with a fleece interlining and it worked very well. I would be very happy to make it from fleece 🙂

That’s pretty much what I would do 🙂 But someone else may have a better idea.

I didn’t realise there had been so few skirts! Only 8, I own 7 of them and have made 3. I’ll probably join in and make some 🙂
