Since the facing piece should extend half an inch past the folded edge, if it would be helpful, you can mark a notch half an inch from the edge as shown in the illustration. Ok, I had a peek, and I can think of 3 spots where something might have happened:
1. the pintucks: I made a mockup in paper and even in paper, I had a bit of trouble getting everything perfectly traced, transferred, and folded
2. the fold of the back edge — should be 1.5 inches total

The lullaby layette only goes to a size 2. The first few patterns only went to size five I think and then a few at size 8 and then the later ones to size 12.

I have made it twice Florabell.
The only concern I would have is the bulk of the seams. If you use a fine fabric and grade the seam properly if would be fine. As the bodice is fully lined, I don’t know that you would actually need to.
We have a few girls that love their French seam finishes. I am sure they would have something helpful to add.

I made a suede version for Tildy and used brass drizabone studs.
I washed that quite a few times in the machine (on a wool wash with shampoo and conditioner) and the suede is still in good repair.
