It’s very frustrating! I don’t think spotlight in Australia has any of the non Mcalls patterns 🙁 And I can’t seem to find a download version either. Back to the ideas board.

I would button them on rather then sew them on. Also, consider adding some elastic to the back bottom edge of the strap, stretched to fit inside the strap, for ease.

For the Sketchbook ‘knicker bockers’ I would pleat the bottom of the shorts and add a cuff, like a waistband.

Hey all, I’m popping in very quickly to say hello. We have 2 1/2 weeks left in Canberra, and we’ve just had 3 weeks with Chris in the US. Audrey’s early birthday party is tomorrow so I’m crazily trying to get things organised for that too.

Don’t forget wool!
You can buy jumpers (sweaters) from Op Shops and cut them up and sew leggings from them.

I would believe it Becky, I sew with fabric older then me!
