Heidi, there was damage but not structural – and Murray lost his motorbike in the creek (which looks more like a river at the moment).

But it didn’t deter me from sewing because the Puppet show set is complete (if you don’t count the elastic in the shorts) and the sunbonnet looks so cute with it.

I just finished my first Hide and Seek dress. This has definatly been a slow to warm up pattern for me. But it jumped out when I was trying to work out what to make from some leopar print pinwale courduroy. I’ve moved onto making some More leggings for my niece for school. She has muscle weakness in her lower legs and falls down a lot. I made her 3 pairs of double Knee leggings last June from some poor quality stretch…[Read more]

That is completely adorable!

We’re about to go to the fabric store to get some lining for the roller skate dress. Chris just said to Audrey:
“Are you ready to go out? We’re going to Hancock’s.”

And Audrey’s reply: “I don’t like to go to Hancock’s, how about I stay here instead?”

Oh dear. My three year old wants to stay home by herself!

Decision made, I’m going roller skate. Decision so final that I bought the digital pattern, and Chris has printed it at work.

I’ve lined the Secret Agent Trench in fleece which worked very well.
