@kmac0107 Kim, do you mind if the trim shows on the reverse side?
If you don’t then it would be as simple as turning up the hem allowance, pinning the trim to the underside then stitching it on while stitching the hem.
If you want to go fancier…. You could try the following:

@kmac0107 I just made this dress for the first time and had the same problem with my binding. It is about an inch too short for the armhole after cutting the 1/2″ off the bodice piece.

Hi @kmac0107, you really don’t want it stretching as you sew, that will pucker the hood once the seam relaxes.
It is hard to advise without seeing the fabric, does it have a pile/nap?
My sewing mind says across the grain for the best result of the look of the fur (perhaps hand baste and sew very slowly to avoid stretching) but my logical mind…[Read more]
