I am watching Joi Mahon’s fit class on Craftsy. Love it and can’t wait to apply it. I do love Craftsy as I can watch over and over and pause and pause again.

I love the dress too. I see lots of flattering things for someone of my shape and size. I am going to suggest you make a muslin. It goes together beautifully, but has tons of ease. You may not need the size it says you need. You may be able to go down one or two depending. Or you may need the size for the front of one, but a narrower cut/ size down in the back. The back has extra and for some of us, ahem, there can be a bustle…[Read more]

I stopped sewing with other patterns. I just can’t hack the missing instructions or the poor finishes. I also prefer the clean lines of O+S.

I understitched a collar on the wrong side so instead of laying flat, it stands straight up!
