They really do say the best things!

My latest favorite:

me scooping up my four year old for a cuddle: “I’ve been waiting all night for this good-morning hug!”

my four year old squeezing tight and whispering in my ear: “I’ve been waiting all night for you to give me a chocolate doughnut.”

Needless to say…he was allowed his doughnut before his eggs.

How timely! Jinx is big at my house right now with my 2nd grader (that and spelling out all conversation by letters…but I digress). My SoCal hubby grew up with “jinx, buy me a soda” I grew up with “jinx, no return” where the person that didn’t say “jinx” fast enough couldn’t speak again until someone said their name.

Such a great look for twins when you don’t want them too matchy matchy — that shape ties the looks together but each is so distinct.

In the What Are You Sewing Now thread, I noticed the Australian gals using ‘snap’ the way I’d say ‘jinx’ — for when two people say or do the same thing at the same time. Just finished my Late Lunch tunic and I am literally bubbling over with excitement.
I cannot remember the last time I made something for myself that I love this much!
(Okay, the Portfolio but don’t rain on my parade)

I made the size 8 with a DD FBA and it is fabulous.
