    Hilarious reading these posts!

I have a trench coat to finish, a 2+2 skirt to complete (sized up) and should really dive in head first with the badminton set all of which are ones I haven’t yet done. The teaparty outfit and the bubble dress patterns (in baby sizes) I am also planning to do at some stage and I may use the bedtime story pyjama pattern to make a multi sized dress up for the playgroup if they choose that idea. I’m going to have another go at the Sunday brunch set also (in a small size) and have sized up the sailboat skirt and pants for this summer’s sewing list. There is so much to go on with!

Sarvi, You get a pass with moving!;)

Technically, I haven’t made the Hopscotch Dress either but I figure if you make the shirt it’s essentially the same except for length. And if I’m getting really technical, the Family Reunion Top and a few others along those lines (top vs. dress versions).

I finished one of mine…the Puppet Show Dress. But then again, I had it already cut out when I originally posted. Now the question is what should I sew next?

I am knee deep in school skirts at the moment. I am 1 of 3 Sunday Brunch skirts down at the moment and if my fabric lasts long enough I plan on doing three 2+2 skirts as well. Phew! Only 11 days left till school starts!

But this idea encourages me to get cracking on the Sunday Brunch Jacket that I have cut and also the Jumprope pattern that I have yet to open. I’m in!

beachmom, the Family Reunion pattern as a blouse is really cute. It is one of my favorites along with the 2+2. I like your Puppet Show Dress a lot. The fabric you chose makes it look more mature.

OK, I’m in. I’m afraid my list is longer than I’d like to contemplate – I tend to pick my favorite patterns and sew them over and over again, rather than trying the new ones! I have a Secret Agent trench cut out, but I haven’t made ANY progress on it. I’m in the middle of back-to-school sewing for Eleanor, but I think that I’m going to challenge myself to finish the Secret Agent before I cut out the TWO School Days coats I have planned for her this fall/winter.

You all are so motivating! I’m going to try to finish the three Family Reunion dresses I have in progress today so that I can get started on the trench.

I didn’t realize this includes doing parts of a pattern already made! I haven’t done the Family Reunion top (or really a dress for that matter unless you count the half finished one that is waiting for buttons). So add that one to my list.

Foiled by a lack of cotton!

I’m having such a nice time sewing my Secret Agent coat (an entirely new pattern for me) but with all that bias binding I didn’t think of how I’d need more than my standard 100m cotton reel. So a forced early night for me tonight and off to Spotlight tomorrow.

The fabric I’m using is a cotton/polyester/lycra drill which was dirt cheap but is so nice to work with as any ironed seam sets like cement.

LightningMcStitch I seem to run into this myself a bit. There a few things I haven’t started do to lack of farbci for one part or another on a project.

The only patterns I haven’t done yet that I have bought is the sail boat top, nature walk outfit and the school days jacket. I know the jacket will have to wait seeing that I need to buy wool fabric for both of my little ones.

Phew! I’m not the only one!!! I feel so much better knowing that I am not alone in pattern hoarding!! However, if I don’t get started my little girl will have outgrown my Oliver + S stash!!!! (But needing bigger sizes is still a good reason to pick up sme more patterns, right?)

Okay, I’m late to the party, but I’m going to try to get a music class skirt, and a 2+2 blouse and skirt. They’ve been sitting in my “to get to” pile quite some time.

    One down!

Just finished my Secret Agent Trench Coat, (bar a little bit of hand tacking of the facing for tomorrow night)

But now I’m out of action for the week due to other evening commitments….

So many to do. Family reunion blouse, puppet show shorts, birthday party dress, sketchbook shirt and shorts, music class blouse, icecream dress, swing set skirt, 2+2 blouse, and after school pants. I also have to finish a trench coat, Sunday brunch jacket, and an apple picking dress. I think I own too many Oliver + S patterns, but they are such wonderful patterns. I can’t wait to see the new fall patterns.

Oh heck, I’ve just ADDED to the pile by drafting 5 hat patterns!

Next week is the start of the official hat season at daycare and the kids have both outgrown last years. I suspect I’ll still buy something for leaving at daycare, cause i’ll care too much about any hat I make. 🙂

1 down – finished my apple picking dress I started nearly 12 months ago and had put to the side. So many more to go.
