There is a printing guide on page 3 that tells you which pages to print so that you can print only the A/B cup sizes for view A.

HI, has anyone suggestions for printing the Camp Shirt with smallest cup size with short sleeves (not the dress version) without having to print all 82 pages? Hate to waste all the paper!

Erica replied to the topic finished measurements not including seam allowance? in the forum liesl + co: fira dress + top 2 years ago
Hello Ingrid! When I made the Fira dress in my usual size, I found that it fit consistently with all the other Liesl + Co patterns. I can always tell if my personal measurements are growing or shrinking based on how my Liesl + Co makes are fitting in the same size. I am wondering if perhaps your pattern was not printed at 100%? I only made…[Read more]

One of the functions of a lining is to enclose, or hide, all the raw edges of seams. Also, it is a way to finish the edge seams without using a facing. It is often easy to eliminate the skirt portion of a lining for a dress, but often it takes more effort to completely eliminate a bodice lining if the pattern was designed to have it. Is this…[Read more]

Hi, I am a novice and would like to leave off the lining on the Felix dress. Is that an easy thing to do? I am also not sure why it needs a lining? I just don’t want it.

Hi Tatiana,
Finishing the raw edge of the pocket facing is done to prevent the fabric fraying or unraveling at the edge.
You need to do it before you start attaching the pocket facing to the pocket or pants.
There’s a video on how to finish seam allowances here: https://oliverands.com/free-videos/how-to-finish-a-seam/
If that link isn’t clickable…[Read more] -

Ok, so I made good progress, and then time was consumed by something else. I’m back now!
Newbie question… what does it mean to “prepare each front-pocket-facing piece by finishing the seam allowances of its longest edge with your preferred method?”. I swear I need a video of the entire making of the Montauk pant :)) I’m not a garment sewer, bu…[Read more] -

Thanks, I was wondering if the fabric would smooth out when I add the sleeves. and yes, the first top didn’t have this issue. (It fits and looks great)! So I was disappointed with this outcome on the second. I’m relatively new to sewing and just wanted some insight into what could be causing the puckers.

Hello! The first photo doesn’t look puckered at all! The second photo is difficult to tell. The puckers may be because of the drapey fabric and they may steam out or soften with wear. And the addition of the sleeves might also help to add a bit of weight to balance out the draping. It could be that you stretched a bit too much, but it may not be…[Read more]

Hi, I’ve made the Geneva top twice in different cottons and really love it! I’ve started a third in tencel and am having trouble with the neckline at the shoulder seam. It puckers! Could it be I pulled the facing too tight? I re-did and the second attempt was better but still not great. Pics attached. Any suggestions?
