Hi, I am a novice and would like to leave off the lining on the Felix dress. Is that an easy thing to do? I am also not sure why it needs a lining? I just don’t want it.

One of the functions of a lining is to enclose, or hide, all the raw edges of seams. Also, it is a way to finish the edge seams without using a facing. It is often easy to eliminate the skirt portion of a lining for a dress, but often it takes more effort to completely eliminate a bodice lining if the pattern was designed to have it. Is this the pattern by Grainline Studios? Perhaps their website has some blog posts for this specific pattern?
