Wonderful pattern for my wonder-filled grandson. This pattern and its instructions were so easy to follow. As a bonus, I attempted to make bellow pockets for the first time and the instructions were so easy to follow and they turned out great. Love the final product and will definitely look to this vendor for additional projects.

Cousin Camp Explorer Vests a Success!
Reviewed by Carolyn ( Verified Buyer) on 08/26/2021
I purchased this pattern in order to make 5 explorer vests for my grandchildren for our annual cousin camp get-together. My grandchildren are ages 3-11 and I was able to make each one the perfect size with this pattern. I added ribbon below each pocket to add carbiners on to. We attached flashlights, compasses, and whistles to them. I used the expandable pocket pattern so they were able to fill their pockets with first aid kits, pencils and pads of paper. This is an adorable pattern and the instructions were simple to follow.

      Perfect for my explorers!

I had fun making the vest in all three sizes for my three sons who love it! I added a few extra features (carabiner, elastic on chest pocket to hold a magnifying glass). Although it was a challenge for me to understand thoroughly the pattern (English is not my mother tongue). I think each step was clearly detailed.

      Explorer Vest
Reviewed by M J Blanchard ( Verified Buyer) on 10/18/2019
I made this for my grandson. He loves small cars. This vest pattern was perfect to tuck a few cars in his pocket when adventuring out for the day. Vest was made with pillow ticking fabric and lined with red bandanna print. He also has a fondness for trains and this combination of fabric fit that genre. Pattern was very easy to follow and went together like a charm.
