Addie, good question! There is quite a bit of design ease in this pattern, so you are correct that you may not need to do the FBA. If you’ve checked the fit and it seems to drape fine, you’re probably safe to go ahead with it as is. Forty-five degrees Celsius?!? Is that for real? If it’s that hot outside, you wouldn’t need to cook the Bolognese on the stove. Just throw all the raw ingredients in a pot in the morning and set it outside in the sun for the day. By the time the sun goes down at night, you’ll have a finished sauce waiting for you!

Here’s a little Liesl + Co. secret. I do all the company’s cooking.

One of the things I like to do on days when I can work from home (which is most days now in Madrid) is make a good Bolognese sauce. I spent today making my famous “All Day Bolognese,” and @admin asked me for my recipe.

Black coated denim, navy and light blue. Jeans and shirts is a pretty standard uniform for me.

Kwik Sew do a very nice jeans pattern that is easy to adjust due to the pattern layout.

I have had good success adapting the Sketchbook shorts too.

Ack, that’s the worst! I narrowly squeezed out my Lisette pjs from the Liberty I purchased before the pattern was finished, and I was sweating that it wouldn’t work out. I spent more time arranging pattern pieces in create ways than I did cutting and sewing, I think!

I am so pleased Shelley. I have made that size before and it worked so I assumed your fabric must have stretched.

I just need to sew the button hole on Elsa’s blazer and it is done!
