Each piece has at 3-4 mods on it and some have to be taken over all pieces! I hope it works as I bought some lovley drapey stretch lace when I was in Melbourne on the weekend…[Read more]

Jay, I hope you adjust soon. What an adventure.
Jenny, enjoy your sewing space. I hope young Missy (Gigi? love that name) likes her new room.

We should start a knitter’s club! Seems like lots of do other fiber crafts on the side.
Jay, a new machine sounds so exciting! What do you have in mind?

I’m frustrated waiting til our stuff arrives, and I buy a new sewing machine. I have two lovely lengths of wool to make a pencil skirt and a pair of wide leg, high waist trousers. Meanwhile, I’m working on a cardigan I’ve been knitting since before Audrey was born. I’ve just got to finish the tops of both sleeves and sew it together.

So true Sarvi. I have very easy pregnancies but PE at the end. Many woman and babies died from that. I am so grateful to be born in this era.
I am so grateful for my brood, my SIL has been on IVF for 17 years, she would give anything for a child.

You always feel such a sense of marvel when you realize that just a few generations ago, your husband might’ve come home from the hospital alone. Very, very grateful for what we have and for modern medicine.
