Johanna, are you long in the body? If so ( like me) I can just lop off the hem. If you are short bodied you may want to shorten above the waist line.

I was just going to mention this, @aussie! Looks like it’s a versatile bow tie pattern–you can even make it for your dog…or probably cat.

Several pairs in rotation over two daughters and no complaints here.

They fall at the hip. I think it just looks low because of the style. Its a great pattern. I have made this one for both my older daughter and my son and hope to make a pair soon for the baby.

You sew the seam at the seam allowance of 1/2 inch. I think I have the supergirl fabric in my stash. I think it was intended for pj’s but didn’t get used when it was first bought. Oh well it happens. That’s how your fabric becomes “vintage”.

I finally made all the changes to my pattern. Now I’m drafting a slight hi low hem. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get to make up the first version to check the fit.
