Is there anything in particular you little man likes on his shirts? I love a good check shirt and stripes (I made Noah a sketchbook shirt in Cape Ann stripe) are always good.

I haven’t sewn at all yet today. I am tossing up what to do. We have an event next week and I need to make something special for the baby but what pattern? At the moment I am swaying between the garden party and the library dresses. I am not sure how the garden party goes in terms of fit on a baby of 6 months so I guess it means measuring and…[Read more]

So I think I figured out why the polo placket was giving some of you issues. We’ve issued an errata for the pattern, so check the page before you sew your next one. Ooh sounds rather strict! You could argue that there are such things as two piece dresses so you tried the opposite – a one piece blouse and skirt?
I managed to sew the little after school blouse during sleeptime, all the way up to the last cuff and the buttons. The cuff is now sewn but the buttons are pretending to be attached. Clever me sewed…[Read more]

I added an inch to the centre front fold and the back for a baby Bubble dress, it was a lovely poofi-ness.
