I did get some sewing time in this week – a Bess dress & a tee for me, but aren’t feeling the vibe today.

Heidi, you are kind, you remind of an Aunt of mine who never wed. She made us the most amazing gifts, we adored her.

My go-to teen boy gift is a shoe bag, like the drawstring bag in the LTTS book (I know you have that). I also like to pop a small pack of wet ones and some Scuff Stuff shoe polish in it.

Voila, a travellers shoe cleaning kit.

Fixed my profile picture! Tho it was right side up on my iPhone, it kept loading sideways when I tried uploading it here. Weird. When I emailed it to myself and opened it up on the laptop, it uploaded right side up here in the forums. I’ve no idea why, but at least it’s oriented correctly now!

I haven’t *technically* started my Christmas sewing yet, but I’ve pre-washed some lovely AMH interlock knit to make my mum a Late Lunch tunic as her present. It’s the next project after I finish these field trip cargos! – soda (my husband is from Ohio and usually says ‘pop’)
– swimsuit or bathing suit

– my husband says “crick” instead of “creek”
– my mother-in-law “warshes” her dishes as opposed to washing them. Another Midwest-ism, I think.

How do you say “roof” and “mirror”? For me:
– ‘roof’ pronounced “rufe”
