Ladies, I’ve finally found the problem! It’s quite simple. And totally silly on my party. I reversed the size labels for the center front and center back pleats, so the lines and dots that are labelled size 0 should actually be size 20. And vice versa.

Or to save them, you could always take a smaller front and back pleat. Those pleats are very forgiving.

I’m going to take another look at this today to make sure it’s correct. Everything looks right, but I think I should walk the pattern to be absolutely sure, since it’s causing you problems.

The grading all appears to be correct (after going over and over it), and when I look at the pieces everything seems to be in order. Yes, I second Reeni’s spray starch suggestion. I started using it a few months ago to keep knits lying flat so I could photograph the steps. Turns out, it seems a little easier to sew the knits with the spray starch, too. Much less fiddling with the curled edges.

The question to ask is if the shop has a plotter that prints from a 36″-wide roll of paper.

These are standard printers made by major manufacturers like Canon and Epson. They will print on sheets of paper, but that’s where you run into problems with size trying to print a pattern sheet.
