I am up to handstitching the lining down on two of the three bubble dresses. I have cut another pair of lullaby layette pyjamas and plan to work on them tomorrow before returning to the third bubble.

The relevant set isn’t “most countries” though, it’s “most customers” — thus, since it sounds like there was a proven customer base in AUS, it made sense to go to the extra trouble. Though at this point I’m probably backseat-driving somebody else’s business decisions, which I imagine could be annoying — sorry, I’ll zip it!
Either way, I know a…[Read more]

Wow babies everywhere! This is wonderful! I am happy to report to all pending and new (and new again) mamas out there that the lullaby layette pattern rocks as pyjamas for a newbie also. I am yet to post the photos of my little one in her new ones but I am ecstatic to report that they worked a treat last night in keeping her warm and she only woke…[Read more]

I also have topstitching on the little Tea party dress bodice to do…[Read more]

Three weeks into sewing Hugo’s peacoat and the end is in sight
I have a long sewing room so I put Trixie up one end and by the time she wriggles her way to me I have a bit done and move her back againThat said, I think it is time for the barricades to go up, she will be crawling soon I guess
