We’re making a few changes to our digital patterns for this spring as a result of feedback (one change is in the inclusion of A0 sheets), and we’ll be making a major enhancement to them starting with our next collection.

Yes, digital patterns currently available are not sized to be printed on A0 paper–which, by the way, seems to be an Australian standard not used most other places.

Starting with our Spring 2015 patterns, though, we will be included A0 layouts for those of you Down Under.

I have a long sewing room so I put Trixie up one end and by the time she wriggles her way to me I have a bit done and move her back again

If it had the scallops I press those first

I just put it over the end of the ironing board and keep turning it until I have pressed all the skirt.
Then a give it a good shake and fluff up the bubble

I don’t see it as ‘cheating’, just whatever method you prefer.
I can definitely see the ease in printing and cutting the paper pattern if you are only using that size once.

I still draft mine off, I dislike working with the stiff paper. I find the glued sheets fold nicely and I store them in a ziplock bag.
The paper sheets are far nicer to trace then tissue.

How old is your daughter, by your description I am assuming a toddler? So she may only wear the garment for a short time?

If it was me, I would be researching which patterns are the best fit for that body shape, rather then altering a higher waisted pattern.

I am FINALLY making a Hide and Seek tunic – of course, I bought the pattern in the smaller size and just realized that the kiddo is going to be out of a size 4 any second. I just though of you, we just passed a beautifully restored 1950 Holden sedan on the highway

I found the wings in the dress up box Mel, they have elastic at the underarms elbow and wrist
I will take a piccie got you
I still think the penguin look the best

I finished the sketchbook shirt, 5 hours from drafting the pattern to completely finished
Considering Trixie has a cold ( and needed lots of cuddles) I was pretty happy with that
We are on our way to the party and it is a glorious day
