Hi, I am not very far along on the Everyday Skirt and have a question – I am sewing the pocket lining to the front panel and it says to pivot but at the point the circle indicates pivoting, it looks like the sewing stops.

Should the sewing along the pocket lining go to the edge of the fabric or end slightly after the circle?

I had a Rowenta from 7 years ago that worked superbly. And I have for 15 years had a Rowenta fixation believing they were wonderful irons. But I did a silly thing and basically ruined the last iron which I never had any issues with. When I went to buy a new iron, of course, I thought I would get a Rowenta. @liesl, thanks for the information about the twill tape. I got some and will try it. I finally was able to upload a picture of the pattern for the larger size and wanted clarification on how this should be cut. It seems like piece 2 is on the fold and 1 and 3 are not — is that right?

I have not had a chance to upload the pattern of the larger size for advice on the cut out. Hopefully, I will do that in the next day or so.

I have the Carolina Herrera Double-Faced Wool Coating fabric, the salmon-beige-orange like color, one of the ones you recommended (a fluke that I have it; it was a surprise).

I originally got the pattern for the dress but I happened to have one of the amazing wools you suggested (the Carolina Herrera salmon-beige-orangeish color – it is very unusual color).
