My husband gave me a Rowenta and a double-wide ironing board for Christmas one year. I was so thrilled!

Thanks, folks. That’s exactly what I needed to know. Plackets it shall be!

The placket is a beautiful detail, but I’m wondering if the little girl will need help to put on this top or whether she can just slip it in with the buttons closed.
(She’s five and in another country so I can’t ask her myself.)
Thank you!

Thanks, Nicole. So you only add width? You don’t add length? Doesn’t a cloth diaper crotch hang a lot lower than a disposable diaper crotch?
I’m actually less worried about taking out excessive width, because while it might look funny it doesn’t hamper movement. I’m more concerned that a too-low crotch will get in the way.
