I’ve gotten hooked on cabbage lately. Kale is a favourite which is good because there’s plenty of it at this time of year, but I think the one I like best is Cavolo Nero (black cabbage). When I was young, my mother would send off to the Wright trim company for a package of lace and ribbon bits and pieces. I remember this vividly because I was so in love with this kind of thing.
