Luckily pink tracksuit Wednesdays are “fetch!”

Ditto what Tamara wrote. Also polo shirts, Henleys, cargo shorts/pants, a basic jacket like a windbreaker, swim trunks. Dude basics that I can jazz up enough to make them interesting, but not so interesting he won’t wear them.

Thanks for reminding me of Ashley’s fabric sourcing tips. A pair of cargo shorts in that kind of nylon blend is exactly what my husband would want me to sew for him (getting my threads crossed)

Yes a resounding yes! My almost eleven year old son has well and truly outgrown Oliver and s and I have been hard pressed to find anything decent and age appropriate ever since. Have you tried the Outdoor Ready series on our blog? As I recall, Ashley had a nice post there about sourcing fabric for purposes like this. I remember that Rose City Textiles was listed as an option, but maybe she mentioned others as well?
