I need some suggestions for Tana Lawn. I scored (and I mean SCORED) some on eBay. I have a 2 yard piece and a 1 1/2 yard piece of Oscar C, a paisley print. Three and a half yards total, for $40!!! I still say go for it! Use wedding dress shopping as a final decision maker for style only even though they are likely to be hawks going for prey. I would avoid it if you are definitely decided. Thanks for all the encouragement! I was actually thinking of asking my mother for her wedding dress. I was thinking of assessing it for any possible pieces I could use and maybe a bit of an up-cycle.

My best suggestion is that your pintucks are too small – they need to all be exactly 1/4″ (go on, ask me how I know – my one attempt at this dress is still waiting for some serious unpicking….)
