Cycle racing! Paris Roubaix if it’s a one night project ir the Giro d’Italia or Tour de France if it’s a three week marathon project!
You’ve got yo prepare really well and get your timing tight cause watching a rerun once your project is hand stitching ready doesn’t cut it when you’ve accidently overheard the result!

Tamara replied to the topic Who wants to sew the Oliver + S skirts with me and win?? in the forum sewing with liesl + co and oliver + s 10 years ago
@Audrey, of course but I am currently away from home so when I get home I will get into the skirt sewing.
I am actually looking forward to it as it will be a nice change to sew only skirts, or pants, or tops at a time. Its fun to do something different to the norm.

Nicole, I’m using the same pattern I used for the wedding cape and the same blue outer as I had just enough left over 🙂 My niece wore one of the practice ones I made for a week straight when she was with us in January and asked for one in blue for her birthday. This one is lined with a beautiful small floral vintage Viyella I picked up at the…[Read more]

I have bought one sweatshirt fleece from Girlcharlee and it has held up pretty well.
I just made a couple of these in french terry from GC and it’s amazing. I don’t know how cold it is where you are, if you would want something heavier though. They didn’t have fun prints, but a big variety of stripes and solids.

@Ock Du Spock snap! I am sewing one too, but very industrial sewing, lots of topstitching 😉
@with love Heidi that divine wedding cape you sewed, swoon!
@roundtheworldgirl I am so excited about your baby. I just love seeing babies in the Flickr pool.
I have the sleeves to go on Beatrix’s Puppet Show dress. I made the size 6-12 months and it is…[Read more]

Yah for Nicole sorting you out 🙂 they are lovely lawns- although my spottie hasn’t been stocking them anymore… perhaps they’ll bring out some new ones again when spring hits!
Good luck with the clearance table girls! Hope it has some gems for you with 25% off the marked down price 🙂 -

Yay, you’re the best! I know I shouldn’t hoard but what you sent me, the whole ‘kit’ with the gorgeous buttons and trim, was just too wonderful to cut without a very carefully thought out plan.

Thank you so much for your help! I’m guessing that the directions are little bit sparse in the pattern because it is one of the older ones! At least it is working right now!

I am travelling to the city at present so should have a reasonable internet connection for a bit.
*From memory*, you sew to the dot, do the next step and then finish sewing that edge? I am sorry not to be more help. I am feeling so frustrated for you.
