Suggested Fabrics
This pattern works best with lightweight trouser fabrics like cotton twill, canvas, and wool suiting with a little stretch. (They’ll be more comfortable with a stretch fabric, although they can be made using fabric without stretch.)
Notions
Coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing, zipper (9" or longer), one 5/8" button, one hook and bar closure, 18" of 1"–1 1/8" elastic.

Comfy good-looking trousers as promised!I sewed up my first pair quickly, using fabric received as a Christmas present, and have worn them lots already. The trousers are comfortable, good-looking, sturdy, and practical, so I’m very pleased. I used a non-stretch sturdy twill to make these up. I made a size larger than I did for my Hollywood Trousers but actually I could have sized down to the same size, I guess both of these are designed to be a snug or relatively snug fit and I ended up with a more relaxed fitting pair (but it still looks and feels good). The instructions are good, as ever, but I do feel like the steps for the welt pockets are slightly clearer on other patterns such as the Art Museum trousers.9 of 9 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? In this video, Liesl introduces you to the Peckham Women's Trousers pattern.
