Fantastic Shorts PatternThis is the most expensive pattern i’ve ever bought. With that in mind i was prepared to be overly critical, but any downsides of this pattern start and stop with the price. I’ve made one pair of shorts and have a second in the works, and I will probably make many more which makes the price completely worth it. This pattern is the perfect balance between being easy to sew, comfortable, and stylish. I’ve never sewn shorts before, but the detailed instructions made it a breeze. The 1/2” seam allowance was perfect for doing flat felled seams which i think really elevate the look and give some extra strength. The resulting shorts are great and i wear them all the time. I do wish the price was a little more accessible, but small pattern makers are, in my opinion, one of the best businesses to give your money, and the price will be well worth it.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Great walking shortsI wanted something very simple, loose fitting for a walking holiday in Santorini. Loved the pockets, best design ever and so easy. I wore a t shirt over the top so wanted a very plain flatter waistband which made it even easier to make. Wish I had made more than one pair, the conventional shorts I wore on other days were nothing like as comfortable. I made them a bit longer in the leg, a bit more flattering on older legs.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?comfy and easy shorts patternI needed a pair of dressier linen shorts for summer, and my friend suggested this pattern--I left off the belt loops and back pockets, and find them very comfortable and flattering1 of 1 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Lisboa walking shortsI really loved making these shorts. The pattern was easy to follow and the pockets were super easy. I cheated and left the belt loops off but the shorts still look very neat.2 of 2 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful?Perfect shorts for summerEverything was good about the pattern - sewing was easy, the instructions clear, the fit was good and easy with the elastic, and the result looks professional with an added value with the belt loops.7 of 7 customers found this helpful. Was this helpful? In this video, Liesl introduces you to the Lisboa Walking Shorts pattern.
